[watershedmanagers] Maine DEP NPS Grant RFA Announcement

Maine DEP will not release an RFA for NPS Implementation Grants in 2026.  We expect to return to CWA s.319 funded Implementation Grant-making in the Spring of 2027.   CWA s.604b funded Planning Grants are not affected by this delay, and we expect to release the Planning Grant RFA on March 11, 2026.

More details about this change and what it means for the Nonpoint Source Grants program will be provided during the Grants Workshop to be held in the Spring of 2026.
