Hi,
We have four district credit cards that are kept in the central office. If
someone needs to use it, they can sign it out and bring receipts for their
purchases when they return it - If they know the cost in advance, they will
sometimes give me a purchase order when they pick up the card.
Last spring a class advisor signed it out for a trip to Canada. That one
was a little tricky as they were paying in foreign currency and conversion
rates were charged, plus they were reimbursing the district through one of
the school-based student activity accounts. Good times... It took about a
week after their trip for everything to hit the account, but they did come
back with receipts for all of their purchases so I had a good idea of what
I was waiting for.
