[Doedata] NEO October Reporting Reminder

Good morning Superintendents and Data Specialists!

This is a brief, general reminder about MDOE October Reporting:

Due October 15th:

  *   Behavior Q1 Quarterly Reporting Validation<https://www.maine.gov/doe/sites/maine.gov.doe/files/inline-files/DATA-Behavior%20Certification%20Instructions-6.1.24.pdf>
  *   Bullying Q1 Quarterly Reporting Validation<https://neo.maine.gov/doe/neo/brs>
Due October 30th:

  *   EF-S-05 Part 1 Special Education Child Count<https://www.maine.gov/doe/sites/maine.gov.doe/files/inline-files/DATA-Special%20Education%20Child%20Count%20Instructions-6.1.24.pdf> -must be certified before October 1 Student Enrollment can be certified.
  *   October 1 Student Enrollment <https://www.maine.gov/doe/sites/maine.gov.doe/files/inline-files/DATA-October%201st%20Student%20Enrollment%20Count%20Instructions-6.1.24.pdf>
EF-S-05 Part 2 Special Education Staff FTEs Certification -must be certified before Staff Certification Report can be certified.

Keep in mind that Certifying the October Student report effectively locks all other student data that involves those Resident Towns in the SAU.

Currently, we can see if a certification is holding up the report from updating, and we are de-certifying as-needed to keep reports auto-refreshing as changes are made in Synergy. This includes changes to your own SAU. If your SAU outplaces or receives students from other SAUs it is advised to wait closer to the 30th to attempt Certification.
