Casco Bay Estuary Partnership (CBEP), based at the University of Southern
Maine’s Catherine Cutler Institute and part of a national network of
estuary programs, is seeking a Policy and Science Assistant to join our
collaborative, mission-driven team.This is an ideal opportunity for someone
early in their career, or pivoting into coastal or environmental work, who
wants broad exposure, meaningful responsibility, and the chance to
contribute to a nationally recognized estuary program.This hands-on role
offers broad exposure to coastal environmental work in Maine, supporting
projects that range from field data collection and event coordination to
communications, storytelling, and partner engagement. Ideal for someone
looking to learn how coastal science and policy work happens in practice.
Salary is $42,000/Year + Benefits.
