Good Morning,
I’m following up on my earlier request regarding MEA Salary Scales. In
addition to the information I previously asked about, I’m hoping to clarify
two specific points about your current teacher pay structure:
1.
*How many total steps or levels* are in your district’s current teacher
salary scale?
2.
*How many years it typically takes* for a teacher to progress from the
first step to the top of the scale, *including any years in which
movement is held* on a particular step or level.
This added detail will help us better understand how different districts
structure progression and longevity within the scale.
Thank you again for your time and willingness to share—it's greatly
appreciated.
Andrea
