[SchoolFinance] Fwd: Retirement Incentives

Good Morning - to clarify - I am asking if anyone has a retirement
INCENTIVE, which would be over-and-above their normal retirement payout.
This would be a one-time incentive offered to employees to entice them to
retire a bit earlier than they had originally planned.  For ex, we have 4
or 5 teachers that are eligible to retire (meet all the requirements),
however have not yet done so.  An incentive may entice them to leave a year
or two earlier than anticipated.  We offered one in 2014 where a teacher
could get a $10,000 bonus to retire by the end of that school year.  We
actually had some takers.

Does anyone have a retirement incentive program they offer to teachers or
administrators who are eligible to retire? (Note that we are not looking to
offer early retirement incentives to those who are not otherwise eligible
to retire).

We have offered some before, about 12 years ago and at that time we offered
a $10,000 payout to a teacher or $4,500 to an hourly employee (ex school
secretary).  Just wondering what amount you offer if you do have such a
plan.
