[SchoolFinance] code for recording loss on disposal of assets

Does anyone have a code to record a loss (negative) on the disposal of
assets?  I thought it would be in the Revenue code 1930- Gains or Losses on
Sale of Capital Assets, but it was rejected and I was told that you cannot
enter a negative in Revenue.  (The description in the Handbook indicates
that you can.)

Codes 1531 and 1532 also indicate allowing recording of Gains(Losses) on
Investments.  Losses would be negatives in this case also.

Any ideas?
