Lisa,
This is exactly how we do it at RSU No 38 as well. MainePers told us that
the sub-election to join or not was a one-time permanent election. They
said it follows the sub-time regardless of whether they become an employee
in another capacity at any time. Only the mandatory position would be
MainePers eligible.
