PRIORITY NOTICE: Restructured CDS Regional Site Boundaries

Dear Champions of Education,

In partnership with Maine's Child Development Services (CDS), we would like to share an important update regarding the realignment of Maine's CDS sites.

In accordance with recently enacted legislation-and as part of continuing efforts to streamline services, enhance coordination with school administrative units (SAUs), and prepare for the full transition of Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) responsibilities to local districts-CDS will be restructuring its regional site boundaries to align with Maine's existing superintendent geographical regions beginning on August 11, 2025.
