[SchoolFinance] EPS Data Collection Period Ending Soon -10/30/2024

Hello School Business Officials,


The deadline for key pieces of EPS funding calculation data is 10/30/2024.   This data includes current year staff information and Synergy student October 1 enrollment data (including EF-S-05 Special Ed) which should be submitted, reviewed, and certified by the end of the month.  If you are having difficulties with staff or student data please reach out to the MEDMS support desk, medms.support at maine.gov<mailto:medms.support at maine.gov> , 207-624-6896.

Data also needed by Oct 30th are your FY24 Actual financial data files.

If your files are approved, please certify them so they migrate to our database. "Thank you!"

If your files are pending, "Thank you!" We will review them shortly.

If your files failed or were rejected, please review the error, correct it, and resubmit your files. "Thank you!"

If your files are not submitted, please prioritize submitting any missing FY24 Quarter 4 Actual files as soon as possible and no later than Oct 30.   All data must be submitted, DOE reviewed, and SAU certified by Nov. 15th the freeze date of the data for use in the FY26 EPS subsidy calculation.  We need all SAUs' information to appropriately calculate the FY26 EPS Subsidy.

The final piece of data we need by October 30 is your EF-S-07 data, FY24 special ed out of district tuition.      If you are having difficulties with your EF-S-07 please contact Alyssa Kenney, Alyssa.kenney at maine,gov<mailto:Alyssa.kenney at maine,gov>.
