[SchoolFinance] FY24 Quarter 4 Actual Files Submission Reminder

Good afternoon!

To secure funding for FY26, please note that FY24 Q4 Actual Files (Revenue, Expenditure, or Balance Sheet) were due on August 30th. Failure to submit these files may impact your FY26 EPS allocations. Please ensure your files are submitted accordingly:


*                    Approved Files. If your files are marked "approved," please certify them so they migrate to our database.

*                    Pending Files. If your files are "pending," thank you - we will review them shortly.

*                    Failed or Rejected Files. If your files "failed" or were "rejected," please review the error, make corrections, and resubmit.

*                    Missing Files. If your files are not yet submitted, please prioritize submitting any missing FY24 Q4 Actual Files as soon as possible, and no later than October 31. All data must be submitted, reviewed by DOE, and certified by SAU by November 15, which is the freeze date for the FY26 EPS subsidy calculation. We need all SAU's information to ensure appropriate calculations for the FY26 EPS subsidy.


We understand your financials may not be audited yet. In that case, please submit preliminary files, and then provide the audited versions once complete, with any necessary adjustments.

Files uploaded beyond the expected submission window will automatically be blocked. If this happens, please review the submissions section of MEFS to verify that the uploaded files are for the intended year and quarter, and if correct, email me at maria.lidback at maine.gov<mailto:maria.lidback at maine.gov> to request unblocking.
