[SchoolFinance] SEED MONEY

Hi Sandy,
Each quarter when the private and public seed are posted to our ED 279, I
do a journal entry to credit state subsidy revenue for the total amount,
and I debit Mainecare revenue for the public seed and debit special ed
health services expense for the private seed.
Because the Seed amounts just increase on the 279 each quarter rather than
showing as separate entries, you have to be careful to only post the
difference each quarter.
I've attached a spreadsheet that I use to track it and post the correct
amounts. I'm happy to discuss our process if you'd like.
