[SchoolFinance] Stipend vs. Hourly Pay

Hi all,
I'm curious how you pay former employees (retired) who come back as a
contractor providing a specific service that is listed in your Professional
Staff CBA's schedule B as a stipend. Do you pay them a stipend through
payroll, or hourly through AP as they submit invoices for the actual time
worked.
