Advanced Tiers Summer Institute
July 10-14, 2023

  *   The registration will be based on a first come, first served basis and capacity is 50 registrants so we encourage you to register as soon as you can.
  *   Registration will close on June 1st
  *   Details of Institute(s):
*  In-person, team-based training (2-3 team members per school)
*  Daily 8:30-3:00 pm (breakfast and lunch provided)
*  Participants have 3 options for registration
Option 1: Two Day
Advanced Tier Foundations
Option 2: Three Day
Brief FBA Training
Option 3: Both Trainings
Monday: Screening, Tier 2 Systems (membership, scheduling, process), Student Referral and Identification, Self-Assessment and Action Planning

Tuesday: Tier 2 Interventions, Data Systems for Progress Monitoring, Establishing Decision Rules, Evaluating Interventions

Cost: $50.00/participant
Wednesday: PBIS Assessments, Principles of Behavior, Defining Behavior, Function, Data Collection

Thursday: Competing Behavior Pathway, Setting Events, Replacement Behaviors

Friday: Reinforcement, Safety/De-Escalation Plans, Implementation Fidelity, Systems Features (TFI)

Cost: $75.00/participant
Participants attend both Advanced Tier Foundations AND Brief FBA Training.

Cost: $100.00/participant

  *   The training will take place in-person at: Husson College 1 College Circle  Bangor, ME 04401
  *   If you are interested in staying on campus in a suite at Husson College, suites will be available for $200 a night and will accommodate up to 4 people (2 rooms double occupancy). You will need to supply your own bedding, but there is air conditioning. The rooms will need to be secured through the registration portal at the same time you register for the Institute. Only one team member will need to secure the room through their registration process.

The Maine PBIS team is excited to bring educators together for a week long experience of learning and collaboration. Optional evening events will be offered for networking and fun!
