[MEA] Maine Through Year & Maine Science Updates

Good afternoon,

Please see the attached slides for updates on the Maine Through Year Assessment and Maine Science Assessment.

In particular, I would like to highlight the following dates:

  *   October 18 at 4:00 PM: This is the deadline to submit reset requests for the Maine Through Year Assessment<https://www.nwea.org/uploads/Maine-Through-Year-Assessment-Reset-Process-Fall-24_NWEA_Guide.pdf>. The reset request form will close to the field at that time.
  *   October 25:
     *   Last day of the fall Maine Through Year Assessment administration window.
     *   Last day to submit a special consideration exemption request in NEO<https://www.maine.gov/doe/sites/maine.gov.doe/files/inline-files/Assessment%20-%20Special%20Considerations%20Instructions%20-%209.27.2024.pdf>. The special consideration module in NEO automatically closes at the end of the last day of the administration window.
     *   Maine DOE recommends uploading student rosters in MAP Growth no later than this day<https://www.nwea.org/uploads/ME-TYA-SAU-Cleanup-Window-Checklist_Fall-2024_NWEA_Guide.pdf>. (You can do this at any time prior to this date.) This is necessary in order to have Maine Through Year Assessment RIT score data appear in MAP Growth reports.
     *   Maine DOE recommends creating Reporting Groups<https://www.nwea.org/uploads/ME-Through-Year-Assessment-User-and-Student-Management-Guide_NWEA-Guide.pdf> for teachers to access their student's Maine Through Year Assessment results in Acacia no later than this date.
  *   November 1: Last day to resolve all import errors resulting from the MAP Growth roster uploads<https://www.nwea.org/uploads/ME-TYA-SAU-Cleanup-Window-Checklist_Fall-2024_NWEA_Guide.pdf>. This is a hard deadline as the MAP - Acacia sync is turned off after this date. Any student uploaded to MAP after this date cannot have their fall 2024 Maine Through Year Assessment RIT scores appear in MAP Growth reports.
