[MEA] Maine DOE Assessment Team August Office Hour & Through Year Assessment Updates

Below are some updates from the Maine DOE Assessment Team:

Assessment Team Summer Office Hour: Monday, August 19 at 12:00 PM
To accommodate summer schedules and provide timely information before the start of the 2024-25 school year, the Assessment Team will be holding a summer office hour on August 19. In September, the Assessment Team will resume office hours on the second Wednesday of every month at 12:00 PM. A registration link for our school-year office hours will be available soon!

Maine Through Year Assessment Updates - See Attachment
Attached is an update for the Maine Through Year Assessment, for which the required fall administration window begins on September 16. The update includes information regarding:

  *   The delay of finalized spring 2024 student results data,
  *   Preparation for the 2024-25 assessments, including the fall administration of the Through Year Assessment,
  *   A virtual, paid Content & Bias Review educator panel opportunity in October, and
  *   An overview of NWEA professional learning opportunities this academic year.
