Save the Date-WCB New Adjuster Training Day is June 5th!

The WCB's Dispute Resolution Team will be conducting a training for newer professionals in the workers' compensation community.  The training will be conducted over Microsoft Teams on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Training hours will be from 9am-12pm and 1pm to 3:30pm.

Topics include:

  *   Payments and discontinuances
  *   Calculating average weekly wages and how to file a wage statement
  *   Overviews of the Monitoring Unit and penalty structure
  *   How to file Indications of Controversy and Notices of Controversy
  *   Introduction to the Audit Process
  *   Practical exercises in form filing

This training is geared toward newer professionals in the workers' compensation community.  Please register by May 31, 2025 by emailing Debi Hutchins at Deborah.hutchins at maine.gov<mailto:Deborah.hutchins at maine.gov>.
