The next Business Meeting of the Maine Workers' Compensation Board of Directors will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.  This meeting will be conducted via Zoom and in person at the Portland Regional Office located at 56 Northport Drive, Portland.
At 11:00 a.m. the Workers' Compensation Board of Directors will conduct a meeting to consider and decide the employee's motion for further findings of fact and conclusions of law in the case of Jerome Weiss v. Maine Soapstone/MEMIC.  The employee's motion follows the issuance of a May 22, 2024 Board decision on the employee's Petition for Extension of Benefits, which was filed pursuant to 39-A MRSA §213(1)(A).  There will not be testimony presented.
