It doesn't disturb soil, and is effective where<span style="font-family:raleway,sans-serif;color:rgb(42,42,42)"> planting larger shrubs with big root balls may be difficult. Live staking requires no permitting, and can often be installed by a homeowner using only plant material already existing on site!</span><br><br>Join us for an interactive workshop to learn how to install live stakes. We'll talk about what live stakes are, how and when to harvest them, and how to install them. Live stakes can be installed on an eroding bank, into the grass or an existing buffer, or even through riprap! Participants will leave with the confidence that they can replicate this practice on their own property! <br><br>Participation in installation is strongly encouraged, but not necessary.
