It's a good way to network and connect with professionals. </div><div><br></div><div>I'd also recommend subscribing to the Watershed Managers mailing list. The Androscoggin River Watershed Council announced that it is time for the<br>
Annual Androscoggin Watershed Conference will be held at the Auburn<br>
Senior Community Center on May 13 from 8:30 to 2:30. Dana Osgood from the<br>
News Center Maine meteorological team will be a featured speaker discussing<br>
information from News Center?s series Maine?s Changing Climate. Maggie<br>
KellyBoyd from the Governor?s Office of Policy Innovation and the Future<br>
will then present highlights from the state climate change plan, Maine<br>
Won?t Wait.<br>

Maine Audubon will be bringing a hands-on stream table to help us better<br>
understand how rainfall and flooding impacts rivers and streams,<br>
infrastructure and wildlife habitat. Other sessions include impacts of<br>
flooding, opportunities for hazard mitigation, the importance of brook<br>
trout to our economy and the environment, perspectives on angling on the<br>
Androscoggin, discussion the 78,000 acre conservation proposal for Northern<br>
Oxford County, and a discussion of water quality. FMI<br>
