<p class="MsoNormal">Located in Greater Portland, Maine, Presumpscot Regional Land Trust seeks an Executive Director to lead a community-based nonprofit organization that engages with communities to conserve, steward, and provide access to local lands and clean
 water for current and future generations to enjoy.<br>
<br>
The Land Trust is nationally accredited and primarily serves Gorham, Gray, Standish, Westbrook, and Windham - an area encompassing 75,000 residents. Holding 2,170 acres of conserved lands with 18 free public access preserves that include trails and water access.
 The Land Trust also runs the water quality monitoring program for the Presumpscot River watershed and coordinates the Sebago to the Sea Trail, a 28-mile trail from Standish to Portland. Go to <a href="http://www.prlt.org/" target="_blank">www.prlt.org</a> to

The Executive Director of the Land Trust provides leadership and vision, organizational capabilities, and relationship-building to guide a growing organization. The Executive Director is a full-time year-round position who works as a leadership team with and
 is responsible to the Land Trust’s Board of Directors. The Land Trust has three staff, including this position, with an annual operating budget of $350,000.<br>
<br>
<b>Responsibilities.</b> The Executive Director is responsible for furthering the mission of the organization, upholding its core values, overseeing staff and programs, and complying with legal responsibilities and best practices for nonprofits. The Executive
 Director is responsible to:<o:p></o:p></p>
<ul style="margin-top:0in" type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Provide leadership for an organization that continues to learn and grow, while overseeing the day-to-day management of Land Trust operations and staff.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Ensure the organization’s activities align with its strategic plan.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Maintain a culture of collaboration among the staff, board members, volunteers, and partner organizations.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Lead fundraising and financial management.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1">Build and maintain relationships with board members, landowners, donors, volunteers, governmental organizations, and community partners.<o:p></o:p></li></ul>

<b>Compensation.</b> The Land Trust offers a salary in the range of $65,000 - $90,000 depending on experience and qualifications, as well as paid time off, sick time off, health care options, annual cost of living adjustment, and retirement benefits. This full-time
 position includes occasional night and weekend work with flexible work options.<br>
