Subject: Kennebunk River PH 1 Social Media Coordination

Hi all,

During our last restoration committee meeting we had discussed coordinating social media efforts to share the work being done under the Kennebunk River Watershed Restoration project. We have a couple of notable dates coming up this month and next that would be ideal to have coordinated posts on, including:

      Friday, March 22- World Water Day
      Monday, April 22- Earth Day

For World Water Day, it would be great if we could coordinate sharing the link to the StoryMap. I can write up a caption and three hashtags to post on all of our FB pages with the link to the story map. I can send over the caption and hashtags sometime next week to get everyone's input.

For Earth Day, we could focus on sharing pictures and info on specific projects that have been done under this project, like the Buffer planting at CAGC and the cleanup along the Eastern Trail. I would plan to post this on the YCSWCD FB page and would just ask our partners to share the post on their pages. We should also keep an eye out for Earth Day events, like cleanups, to share on our FB pages as well. And if any of your organizations are planning an Earth Day event, please let us know and we can share your social media posts about it.
