Subject: Funding for Youth Climate Corps Programs Now Available

Hello-

In case you missed Volunteer Maine's recent e-news, I wanted to be sure that you saw we currently have an RFA open for Youth Climate Corps funding. Please share with folks in your network you have or are interested in launching youth service programming. Eligible applicants include non-profits, municipalities, other government agencies, higher ed, and more!

Youth Climate Corps RFA is now open

Small grants of up to $10,000 are now available for Youth Climate Corps programs. The funding may be used to support members or staff delivering service projects focused on the "land and freshwater preservation".

Programming must take place during the summer of 2024 or the fall of 2024 with all projects completed by December 31, 2024.

There will be an information session<https://mainestate.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_JdD375C4RJ6DQiZJPhpfbw> on February 21, 2024 and applications are due March 10, 2024.
