Hello Watershed Managers!

Just a reminder that the Maine DEP's NPS Grants Program will hold our Annual Workshop for prospective applicants for the NPS Planning (604b) and Implementation (319) Grant RFA's is FRIDAY 2/16 at 10 am - 12 pm.
This hybrid workshop will be held in-person at:


  *   DEP-Southern ME Regional Office, 312 Canco Rd, Portland
  *   DEP-Central ME Regional Office, Marquardt Building, Rm 332,  32 Blossom Lane, Augusta

And via  Zoom (A Zoom meeting registration link will be provided when the registration form is submitted).

10:00-10:15       Welcome and Introductions
10:15-10:45       Overview of DEPs NPS Program, Types of Grants, and Grant Preparation Instructions, RFA release dates
10:45-11:30       Updates and anticipated RFA changes for 2023, Q&A Session
11:30-12:00       Regional discussions (live breakout in Portland and Augusta, virtual breakout rooms for everyone else)

Updates and anticipated changes will include:

  *   Adjustments to the Environmental Justice Scoring Criteria
  *   New Workplan Requirements
  *   9-element Plan timeline
  *   Shoreline stabilization policy
