Info Session on New Funding Opportunity for Lake Restoration using an In-Lake Aluminum Treatment
Maine DEP will hold an online information session to provide details about a new grant opportunity to help fund in-lake aluminum (alum) treatments. Grants will be from the Lake Water Quality Restoration and Protection Fund (38 MRSA 480-N). The 131st Maine Legislature approved the allocation of $200,000 into this non-lapsing account in the 2025 State Fiscal Year.
