The Piscataqua Region Estuaries Partnership (PREP<https://prepestuaries.us10.list-manage.com/track/click?u=5075a5bd27421833e43127c13&id=d4af8d79c6&e=41c82e8f96>), in partnership with the NH Coastal Adaptation Workgroup (NHCAW<https://prepestuaries.us10.list-manage.com/track/click?u=5075a5bd27421833e43127c13&id=1d450317c2&e=41c82e8f96>), is seeking a full-time Watershed Resilience Manager to provide strategic coordination and leadership to increase the resilience of the Piscataqua Watershed and lead and implement the Great Bay Adapts Technical Assistance Program. We have an unprecedented opportunity to increase resources and effective collaboration for increasing watershed resilience and are looking for the right candidate to support these efforts. The Watershed Resilience Manager will work with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of state agencies, nonprofits, regional planning commissions, and extension staff.

The PREP Watershed Resilience Program Manager has two explicit and overlapping functions:

  1. Provide strategic coordination and implementation support to increase the resilience of the Piscataqua Watershed
  2. Lead and coordinate the NHCAW Great Bay 2030 Adapt to Climate Change initiative, Great Bay Adapts
Summary of Position:

  * This is a five-year, full-time position inclusive of benefits with secured funding for three years and an anticipated extension of two additional years. Position could extend beyond five years considering performance and contingent on funding.
  * Provide strategic coordination to ensure achievement of high-priority activities required for Piscataqua Watershed Resilience.
  * Lead and coordinate the NHCAW Great Bay 2030 Adapt to Climate Change initiative, Great Bay Adapts, a co-created technical assistance program designed to enhance the resilience of communities.
  * Build the capacity of communities to seek and administer funding opportunities in support of water quality, natural resource protection, and local and regional climate resilience efforts.
  * Place an emphasis on equity, accessibility, and inclusion, engaging communities that have historically been underserved through similar funding and assistance opportunities due to systemic and geographic barriers.
Application review anticipated mid-July. Visit the links below for more information and to apply.
