<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div>We frontload 40 hours on July 1. Our Bus drivers and ed techs get paid out "vacation days" at the end of school. </div><div><br><div>• <a href="https://legislature.maine.gov/bills/getPDF.asp?paper=HP0019&item=3&snum=132" target="_blank">The law that went into effect in September of 2025</a> is that saying any unused balances carry over to the next year? (Meaning balances can exceed 40 hours). OR is it saying, unused balances carryover up to 40 hours but if EPL is used employees can keep earning more hours for that year until they have earned their 40 hours. (Time rolls over and employees can use more than 40 but their current balance will never be higher than 40).</div></div><div><br></div><div>• Does the vacation days we pay out to our EdTechs and Bus Drivers also pull from EPL?</div><div><br></div><div>Thank you for your input!</div><div>Daniel</div></div>
