are most accurate at the source of entry. There are many data elements that families self-report to SAUs which may not be reported with validity. When planning back-to-school activities consider integrating enrollment/registration form trainings for families.
This could be a hosted event to review the forms with families, video trainings about the forms, and/or embedded training content in online registrations. Be sure to include information about the purpose of the forms, and the importance of validity when reporting.
