<p class="MsoNormal">As you know, we attempt to post the MaineCare Seed adjustments in the first month of each quarter throughout the year.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We attempted to apply the Q324 (Quarter 3 Billing from FY 24) adjustments to each SAUs FY 25 ED 279 report today, prior to the payment of the July subsidy allocation scheduled for tomorrow. However, we had a bit of a glitch, I know, not
surprising <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI Emoji",sans-serif">😊</span>.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Therefore, rather than wait to send out the July subsidy payment, we are delaying the posting of the Q324 MaineCare Seed adjustments until the August payment.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The July Subsidy payment will be the amount prior to any MaineCare Seed Adjustments, and the August amount will be adjusted accordingly so that the Maine DOE is able to recoup the funds we have paid to DHHS on your behalf for the federally
required seed portion of the MaineCare funds.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Many of you may see the date of your ED 279 has changed to 7/23/2024; this is because we uploaded the adjustments and then had to reverse them in order to correct the error we discovered after the upload. Sorry for any confusion this may
have caused.<o:p></o:p></p>
