[SchoolFinance] Quick Question About Clearing Snow from School Buses

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question as we're thinking ahead to winter (I know... it's
only July!).

I'm curious how other districts handle clearing snow from school buses
after a storm.

   - Who is responsible for shoveling out and cleaning off the buses? Is it
   the assigned bus drivers, your transportation department, custodians, or
   someone else?
   - If your bus drivers are the ones doing it, how do you compensate them
   for that time?
   - Are they paid at their regular driving rate, or do you use a different
   hourly rate? If it's a different rate, is it higher or lower than the
   driving rate?

I'd appreciate hearing how your district handles it. Thanks in advance for
