Hello,
Gorham changed from MMA to Cross Insurance/Liberty Mutual in 2018 and have
seen pretty significant increases ever since. I noted two years with
large increases due to additional square footage through a school expansion
project.
One of the things I miss the most is MMA always held the premium rate
during a year, even if we added insured value during the year. They would
adjust for it in the next year, but never in the middle of the year. That
is not the case now as I get adjustment invoices throughout the year when a
change is made. Good luck, I hope this helps.
Fiscal Year Carrier Premium $ Increase % Increase
2026 Cross/Liberty Mutual $ 269,428.00 $
14,582.00 6%
2025 Cross/Liberty Mutual $ 254,846.00 $
43,319.00 20% *Elementary school expansion
2024 Cross/Liberty Mutual $ 211,527.00 $
58,116.00 38% *Elementary school expansion
2023 Cross/Liberty Mutual $ 153,411.00 $
25,832.00 20%
2022 Cross/Liberty Mutual $ 127,579.00 $
23,703.00 23%
2021 Cross/Liberty Mutual $ 103,876.00 $
13,317.00 15%
2020 Cross/Liberty Mutual $ 90,559.00 $
3,716.00 4%
2019 Cross/Liberty Mutual $ 86,843.00 $
19,843.00 30%
2018 MMA $ 67,000.00
Cumulative 9 year increase $202,428.00 302%
The numbers speak for themselves. Good luck, I hope this helps!
