[SchoolFinance] Bus Purchasing Program

Dear Directors,

Just a reminder that the Maine School Bus Purchasing Program will open on Monday, November 4, and close on Tuesday, November 25.

One very important point I want to emphasize is that once you have been approved to purchase a school bus, you must purchase the specific bus you were approved for or cancel the request. We will no longer approve substitute buses with different base bids or sizes. If an emergency arises-such as your district receiving a new student requiring a bus with wheelchair accommodations-please contact me directly to discuss the change before proceeding. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
