PRIORITY NOTICE: Reminder to Update NEO Staff Contact Information

Dear Champions of Education,

The NEO Staff system has rolled over to the 2025-2026 school year. Now, school administrative unit (SAU) staff data specialists are asked to please verify the contact information for staff members who are fulfilling SAU-level roles to ensure it is up to date in NEO Staff assignments. This includes email address, phone number, and phone extension/option #.

The Contact Search in NEO is used by many teams at the Maine Department of Education (DOE) to provide important and timely updates as the school year approaches. Therefore, it is essential that the contact information available in this system is accurate. New superintendent assignments must be updated promptly to ensure that SAU leaders can perform state-level reporting, complete report certifications, and receive critical and time-sensitive communications from the Maine DOE.
