[SchoolFinance] E-File with IRIS or FIRE Production System?

Hi Jillian,

You can file with either system but you have to have separate TCC filing
codes for each one. Depending upon your software, you may or may not be
able to use both systems. You will need to check with your current provider
to make sure you can use both. At the minimum, you should be able to use
the FIRE system as that is the one we have been using for years. However,
you will have had to get a new TCC code from the IRS to use the new
upgraded FIRE system. (Most everyone got their FIRE TCC codes last year...
I believe.)

It can be confusing. I used the FIRE system to upload my 1099's this year.
I do have a TCC code for the new IRIS system, as well in anticipation of
using it in the future.
