We used to round, but stopped that practice once it became obvious that we
had several employees that were taking advantage of the rounding to
lengthen their lunch period (by as much as 14 minutes) and shorten their
day (by 7 minutes in am and 7 minutes at end of the day. They were
basically getting paid an extra 28 minutes *each day*, but were not working
the time. We now pay to the minute, no rounding. It has stopped the
congregation at the time clock waiting for that "minute" to round up and
the offenders now actually have to WORK their day to get it paid.
We use TimeClock Plus. We also limit the use of the ability to clock
in/out using the phone app, as the geofencing does not always work properly
and was allowing people to clock in/out from anywhere and not being blocked.
