[SchoolFinance] 1095C

I'm assisting someone with their 1095C's and the question came up
regarding the field that says "Plan Start Month". We had originally put 07
because our Anthem plan renews July and I have seen examples (not from IRS
but a benefit management company) of a school whose rates changed in July
and they had 07 for July. But other examples online of 1095c's often show
01 in that field for January.
Curious what all of you are reporting in that field or if anyone has called
IRS or gotten further clarification of what that is used for? We tried
calling an IRS # but they said you have to look on the website but the
definition of that field was not well defined.
