The BIAA Maine Chapter, as part of the ACL Grant initiative, is offering two opportunities to Maine school nurses, athletic trainers, and school-based health center staff to learn more about brain injury: Understanding Concussion Certificate Course and Brain Injury Fundamentals Self-Paced Course.
Understanding Concussion Certificate Course
BIAA Maine is pleased to offer 10 free seats for the Understanding Concussion Certificate Course (Typical cost 145.00). Please note this is a fully asynchronous course consisting of the concussion manual, recorded webinar, and online, open-book quiz.

The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) has reviewed Understanding Concussion: Symptoms, Diagnosis, and Treatment Approaches and approved it for up to 5.00 Enduring Materials, Self-Study AAFP Elective credits. The approval period is from 06/01/2024 to 06/01/2025. Physicians should claim credit only for the extent of their participation in the activity.
This session is approved for 5 AAFP Elective credits as indicated on the course completion certificate.
