National Association of School Nurses Conference Registration is scheduled for June 28-July 1 in Chicago IL. If you have never been to a national conference, it is something to be experienced in person! Attending the national conference can be expensive. We will be able to offer registration scholarships for 10 who have not been before (approximately $450). If selected, you will be responsible for all other costs associated with getting to and being at the event. Concussion Workgroup is looking for a few school nurses to be part of our discussions and ongoing work. This workgroup is responsible for maintaining the concussion materials on the DOE website, discussing ongoing legislative requests, emerging research, and best practices.  We meet every other month on the 2nd Thursday at 9am. Our next meeting is March 11. If you’re interested email me.
