Immunization Reporting is due to Maine CDC by Dec 15. Report accurately—if you have missing records for new Mainers. Report them as missing records unless you have a catch up schedule. You can add in comments at the end to explain your efforts or the situation (include only general, non identifying information please) I've attached the letter from Maine CDC about the report. It has the link embedded in it for the report and the pdf is a copy of the questions for you to review.

Health Communities of the Capitol Area—is trying to spread the word about a LGBTQ+ youth only quit tobacco support group: It's Worth the Try. This is for teens statewide! (See all the attachments) Flyers are attached that provide adults more information about the quit support group, so that those who work in schools or other youth serving organizations are able to offer this support group directly to youth in their community. This way, youth are hearing about the resource from a trusted adult.

Just as a reminder, this group is: free, virtual, statewide, confidential, no insurance required, facilitated by LGBTQ+ adults, 6 weeks long (with an optional additional 2 weeks at the end of the core 6 sessions), and youth will receive free incentives throughout the course of the program. This is a group designed for high schoolers, but middle schoolers may still apply. Youth must be a member of the LGBTQ+ community (but they do not have to be out to friends or family). The group is scheduled to begin on January 10, but if we have 4 or more youth sign up beforehand, we will start a group sooner. Please share these flyers however you believe is best for your area and your youth. I have attached social media sized promos as well. You will notice a few different flyers - some of which you may have seen before. All of these can be used however you wish, and they contain the same information and registration QR code. The purple flyer that says "adults" on it, is for adults to learn additional information on the group so they can feel more comfortable telling youth about this program. Feel free share that flyer to anybody who can engage youth or may benefit from knowing this info. This flyer can be posted on bulletin boards, etc., but the main point of this one is to spread the word with adults who work directly with youth. All others are strongly encouraged to be promoted on bulletin boards, social media, in GSDA/GSTA meetings, nurses offices, guidance offices, etc. If you are interested in a mini-presentation or a video call with staff at your organization about this program, also please don't hesitate to reach out! I am a resource for you! (Adlin Deering) a.deering at hccame.org<mailto:a.deering at hccame.org> | 207-441-6628
