Good morning,

Please take a few minutes to complete this survey for the Maine Department of Education’s Assessment team. We are trying to reach the broadest possible audience of reading teachers in grades 3-8 across the state of Maine so if you teach grades 3-8 we would love to have your input. We would also appreciate it if you shared it with your grade 3-8 colleagues. Comprehensive feedback is important to us so thank you in advance for your time and effort.

Maine DOE’s Assessment Team released a short, four-question Maine Through Year Assessment Climate Survey that is intended to measure how much students’ scores, both RIT and Maine-specific scale scores, during the spring 23 and fall 23 administrations aligned with expectations based on student’s performance in the classroom. The intent is to reach as wide an audience of educational professionals as possible, including SAU and school leadership as well as teachers, and to use the results to inform decision-making moving forward.
