to reschedule the Drainage class in South Portland from 11/5 at the Community Center to 11/19 at the South Portland Public Works.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Since the original blast on 10/7 of the Drainage classes, we added one additional class in South Portland due to HIGH DEMAND! As time has permitted to open up over 150 emails & a few dozen voicemails for the Drainage registrations, I’ve
tried to respond to most of you; I may have overlooked some. If there are any questions, please feel free to reach out. I’m mapping out all the original requests, but may need to move some people around to accommodate all. I don’t like to turn anyone away
from our workshops!<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">It’s that time of year that we’re very busy – MMA convention, Snow & Ice workshops & Part II of Supervisory Leadership next week. The 2 remaining Snow & Ice workshops are 10/28 & 29 in South Portland & Standish, and we’ve dedicated November
to Drainage, Drainage, Drainage. Having said that, it’s possible for impending weather, in which case, we will reschedule the class, most likely 24-48 hours in advance.<o:p></o:p></p>

<span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-ligatures:none">MeWEA Collection Systems Committee is teaming up with JETCC to offer a four-part Collection System Training Series designed to strengthen operator and field staff knowledge of collection and stormwater systems.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><i><span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-ligatures:none">Collection Systems Diagnosis & Maintenance Series: Cleaning and Jetting</span></i><span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-ligatures:none">,
will be held in Gardiner, Maine on October 28th. This course focuses on safe and effective cleaning and jetting practices, nozzle selection, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Although it’s traditionally geared toward wastewater operators, this training is
equally valuable for Public Works employees who maintain storm drains, culverts, and other parts of the municipal stormwater system.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-ligatures:none">Future sessions will continue into 2026, diving deeper into collection system topics such as CCTV inspection, asset management,
