IMPORTANT: Bridge Postings for certain Fire Trucks

Dear Municipal Officials,

This email is being sent to municipal officials and public works crews across all towns in Maine. Please forward this to your Fire Department and other departments such as Police, emergency responders, as necessary.
Attached is an informational brochure describing an upcoming addition to MaineDOT's bridge posting signs.  These signs have yet to be installed in Maine but will be soon.  Before any sign is installed, the town and any mutual aid town that might regularly use the bridge will be called to discuss the restriction.
