Maine Local Roads Center 2026 Updates

Happy New Year all!  As we put 2025 to bed & begin this new year, I’d like to highlight a few things:


  *   2026 Calendars – still many left; if you want one or two, please let me know.
  *   Workshops – as we do every Spring, we will provide training on Work Zone Traffic Control throughout the State; pending staff availability, we’d also like to offer Practical Road Math & Trees/Weeds/Roads/Invasive Species; please let me know which class(es) you would like to attend, the approximate number of attendees that you would likely send to training & whether or not you could host (need space for 40ish with tables & chairs).  Once I gather response, I will coordinate accordingly.
  *   Work Zone Pocket Guides – these new 2025 Pocket Guides, also referred to as “MUTCD Flip Books,” are being printed & should be delivered within a few weeks; these will be provided FREE to all WZTC workshop attendees this spring; if you want to purchase extras for all your employees, they will remain at $4 each.  Please let me know if you would like to order
  *   MCAPWA Spring Meeting is 4/2/26 in Augusta at the Calumet Club
  *   Maine Highway Congress is 6/4/26 in Skowhegan at the Fairgrounds
