FW: Maine Local Roads Updates

Good morning!  What a beautiful week (at least here in the County) as we look forward to another weekend of rain…. ☹

As we (Pete, Paul & myself) are winding down from 19 workshops (@ 700 attendees), 3 days of Supervisory Leadership & a week of Traffic School (@ 150 attendees

Many of you have not been invoiced yet for workshops or MUTCDs, and I owe some of you certificates of attendance for a class; I'm planning to get caught up in the next few weeks, so please be patient.  I’ll get there!

Looking ahead, we’re hoping to offer some variation of Snow & Ice Control/Calibration; All About the MUTCD & Drainage in the Fall. I’m looking for feedback for these as well & what you are interested in so that I can strategize in planning our Fall workshops.

We are also very close in putting the Work Zone Traffic Control pocket guides or “flip books” out to bid.  Once we are able to get those printed, I will let you know.  I have many, many people requesting these & have an ongoing list for orders.

Finally, please look for an email from us in the near future (over the summer) for your Local Road Assistance (LRAP) form to sign via DOC-U-SIGN.  These will be emailed to whomever has been designated to receive this document.  If it went to someone else last year, or you’re unsure, please ask.  I want to make sure I have the correct person designated to sign this document, whether it’s the Town/City manager, Road Commissioner, Public Works Director or Treasurer.
