The Maine Department of Education is pleased to share a new statewide professional learning opportunity designed specifically for educators who support multilingual learners across all grade levels and content areas.
This cohort-based series, delivered in partnership with SupportEd, a nationally recognized expert in multilingual learner instruction, will equip educators with evidence-based strategies aligned to Maine’s Reading and Math Action Plans. Participants will strengthen their capacity to integrate the WIDA ELD Standards, apply language-focused scaffolds, and implement practices that advance equitable access to grade-level learning for MLs.
This series is well-suited for any Maine educator seeking to deepen their understanding of language development and improve outcomes for ML students.
