[ELmaine] Week of the Young Child 2025

In collaboration with the Maine Department of Education's Early Learning Team, the Office of Child and Family Services is proud to celebrate Outstanding Early Childhood Professionals from across the State of Maine all week.  Through a nomination process, the professionals spotlighted this week showcase the hard work and dedication across all domains of early care and education for children birth through age eight.   In addition to public recognition, the nominated individuals will receive a small token of appreciation in the coming weeks supported by the Preschool Development Grant.

We are thrilled at the strong response to this recognition, with 286 individual nominations for 208 Early Childhood Professionals across the state!  If you know an outstanding professional spotlighted, please take a moment this week to thank them for their contributions to our most precious resource and best hope for our future: Our Children!
