Good afternoon,

I first want to acknowledge the sadness and grief we are experiencing from the Lewiston tragedy. I hope each day offers space and connection to begin healing.

I am writing to share the attached  Early Child Care and Public-School Educators Caring for Children Birth-Eight program series again offered by the Maine Resilience Building Network in partnership with the Maine DOE.  I share this today to acknowledge the virtual program, scheduled on Thursday 11/2/2023 from 3:00-5:00 PM.   The Maine Resilience Building team recognizes the sadness and stress for our caregivers and educators from the recent Lewiston tragedy.

In addition,  the three programs, 1) The Impact of Experience: How Adverse Childhood Experiences and Positive Childhood Experiences Impact Healthy Child Development,  2) A Framework for Implementing Positive Childhood Experiences to Support Healthy Child Development, and 3) Addressing Compassion Fatigue and Resilience Strategies in Educators and Caregivers are scheduled again starting Saturday, November 4th through December 18, 2023.
