Happy CACFP Week!

Today’s theme is Literacy & Lunch — where healthy meals and learning come together!
Mealtime is more than just eating — it’s a chance to build language skills, spark curiosity, and make meaningful connections.

Ways to celebrate today:
• 📖 Read a book about food, farms, or healthy habits during snack or mealtime
• 🗣️ Encourage children to describe what they are eating
• 🌽 Introduce new words related to fruits, vegetables, and where food comes from
• ❓ Ask children questions about their food to spark conversation and learning

By combining story time and mealtime, you’re helping support healthy minds and healthy bodies every day.
