The Budget Training has been recorded and is available here: https://youtu.be/A7nAR-cU8ZA?si=E6zeyXdqo050SaVj or on our resources webpage under "CACFP Budget" https://www.maine.gov/doe/schools/nutrition/cacfp/resources
**Just a reminder- our priority is to complete Administrative Reviews prior to approving agreements- saving questions regarding agreement renewals for the open office hours helps us to reach this goal!
A few things to assist in making this agreement approval process easier:
* Do not wait until the last minute to start your agreement.
* Use the "Open Office Hours" as a resource for questions. We will be able to share our screen with you - and we can look at your agreement together in CNPweb
* Schedule and meeting links are on the CNPweb Notice Page when you first log in
* You have been assigned a State Agency Reviewer to approve your agreement- that assignment list is on the notice page when you first log into CNPweb- if your question cannot wait until open office hours, please direct your question to your assigned reviewer.
* **Use the Step-by-Step Guide** located under the help tab (Top of the screen in CNPweb)- We cannot recommend this enough!!
* All Sponsors are doing a "fine tooth comb" agreement this year- Everyone will need to re-sign and upload the CACFP Agreement #1 on the checklist tab. Please use the Step-by-Step Guide for other required checklist tab uploads.
* New Budget- download the excel budget from the checklist tab- We recommend completing tabs B & C, once complete look at tab D for summary of expenses, and then enter income on tab A. As you enter information into A, B, C- Tab D should update with the information- and this should help you balance your budget.
* The Budget Training has been recorded and is available, we suggest watching prior to starting the budget: https://youtu.be/A7nAR-cU8ZA?si=E6zeyXdqo050SaVj
* If while you're working on your agreement, you believe the CNPWeb system has a bug- please take a screenshot of what you see and email it to your assigned reviewer. The web developers will not fix anything without screen shots- and sometimes we cannot replicate the error after the fact.
* If your agreement is in "Pending Submission Status" it has not been submitted for approval. We will not see your agreement has been submitted until it is in "Pending Approval" status.
* Common reasons why your agreement might not be going into pending approval status:
i. Sponsor did not complete all required uploads on the checklist tab (see red checkmarks)
ii. Sponsor did not complete the Certification Statement- (last question in the application)
iii. A piece of the agreement (Application, Management Plan, Site Information Sheet, Checklist tab) is missing information or in error status
iv. The Sponsor did not submit the application for approval- (blue box appears at the bottom of the checklist tab once all pieces of the agreement are in pending submission status and all uploads complete on the checklist tab)
* Please be patient, we are training new staff on Administrative Reviews and Agreement approvals- as you all know, it's a big learning process.
We hope you all have a great weekend!
