Good Morning,

Due to a finding we received from the State of Maine auditors, we are required to remind CNPweb Users to check and update their User Access in CNPweb throughout the year.
To see who has access to your program in CNPweb, log in and click on the Users Tab- see example below:[cid:image003.png at 01DA4926.8D89E3A0]

Complete the attached form to add, modify or delete a user in CNPWeb. You must also update the Sponsor Application in CNPWeb accordingly. Submit this form as often as changes occur to reflect only those currently approved to enter data and/or approve claims. This form must be signed by the Sponsor's Authorized Representative (see Application #5). This is the person with the legal authority to sign documents on behalf of the sponsor. Email completed form to child.nutrition at maine.gov<mailto:child.nutrition at maine.gov>.

The CACFP also wanted to give CACFP Sponsors a heads up that the State Auditors have also required that Users have different permission levels within CNPweb. Example: One User can create a claim on behalf of the Sponsor, but they cannot submit/approve the claim. Another User cannot create claims but can only submit/approve them (typically this is the Sponsors Authorized Rep or Superintendent). Basically, one person cannot have permissions to make changes to the agreement and submit claims on behalf of a sponsor without proper checks and balances. The CNPweb web designers have been working on this update and it will be finished soon. Please ensure that you have at least two users with access to CNPweb (one to submit claims, and one to approve claims). We will be reaching out regarding User Permissions in the coming months. In the meantime, please make sure the users in your agreement are correct and update if necessary.

Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you,
